1. Guidelines
Each contest has a theme as part of the judging criteria please consider the theme when making your entry submissions.
Read the rules carefully.
Artists retain ownership & copyright of their works. Any enquires to purchase work will be directed to each artist.
2. Rules
By submitting your entry you (the artist) consent to the Gallery Omata Terms & Conditions Agreement.
Let's keep it positive. The gallery focuses on positive subjects for consideration by the jury and inclusion in exhibitions. Artists are requested to keep this in mind when submitting their entries.
Those seeking to use images from the Gallery Omata website will require permission from the artist & the gallery before proceeding.
Competition is open to artists worldwide over the age of 18 years.
Entry fees are non-refundable.
There is no limit to the number of entries per artist.
Images taken front on with only the artwork clearly visible and in focus will be accepted.
Maximum image size 2MB in .jpeg or .png format file titled with Artist Name – Title of Artwork.
Artwork submitted is to be original work by the artist related to the theme of the exhibition.
3. Awards
Award winners will be notified by email within 5 days following the selection of the winners.
Gallery Omata will make every effort to contact Winners but accepts no liability for Winners failure to receive notices due to spam, junk email or other security settings or for Winners provision of incorrect contact information.
Winners are accountable for costs associated with award acceptance, such as applicable federal, state, provincial and local taxes.
4. Contest Fees
You may submit more than once.
Entry fees are non-refundable.
Contest fees can be paid using Paypal or credit card.
5. Image Submission Sequence
Keep images under 2MB.
Include an artist statement.
Complete all required information.
Submit entry
You will be redirected to PayPal for payment.
Confirmation email will be sent after your payment is complete.
6. Judging Criteria
Gallery Omata commits to assessing artists work through an unbiased and fair selection process to create opportunities for artists. The criteria includes creative expression, composition, demonstration of artistic intent based on the theme, mastery of the medium and aesthetic appreciation.
